One of the main reasons why Haikyuu is loved by a vast audience that even includes people who are first-time anime watchers is the dynamic between the wide range of characters within the show. The chemistry so portrayed is easy to bring out because of the well written individual character arcs. Although we claim Hinata and Kageyama to be the protagonists of the story, the focus isn’t simply concentrated on them. It rather keeps moving back and forth to highlight each and every character within the anime, which is also why the side characters too have a huge fan following. Similarly, the last episode brought Kenma Kozume from Nekoma High in the spotlight, thereby setting the room for Haikyuu To The Top Season 2 Episode 18.

Haikyuu To The Top Season 2 Episode 18 Storyline
The last episode shifted our focus onto the volleyball players of Nekoma High. Throughout the previous seasons of Haikyuu, as far as the players adorning the red jersey were concerned we primarily got to see the duo of Tetsuro Kuroo and Kenma Kozume. Episode 17 reaches beyond that representation and dives deeper into Kenma’s life and character while also introducing us to his relationship with teammate Taketora Yamamoto.

The 18th episode will continue the showdown between the two high schools- Sarukawa Tech and Nekoma – both widely known for their strong defense. On the other hand, we also have Karasuno High facing off against Inarizaki High. The upcoming show will carry forward these two matches and finally reveal the names of the winners.
