Fans are and have been eagerly waiting for news about Healer Season 2. Although it had alright ratings in Korea, it gained a fanbase overseas. This fanbase wants to know more about if they will get it. The show’s run lasted from December 8, 2014, to February 10, 2015. Should You Expect Healer Season 2
The biggest question is if viewers should expect a second season. The plain and simple answer is: no. Here’s why. The show ended on a very conclusive and satisfying note. As refreshing as it is to see a network conclude a story, it means there is no more story to tell. As a result, there is no reason for a second season.
The story of the first season revolves around an incident involving five friends that occurs in 1992. They ran a pro-democracy broadcasting station during the Fifth Republic in South Korea. It brings together an unlikely group of people in the present. These people are a tabloid reporter, a famous journalist, and an illegal night courier who goes by the name ‘Healer’. They try to uncover what happened in 1992 along with present-day murders.

The studio ended the story very well and left no room for loopholes. There are no cliffhangers and the stories of the past and the present work seamlessly together.

If the second season does happen, the cast and crew are expected to remain the same. The series has two directors; Jin Wook Kim and Hung-Seob Lee. The writing credits go to Ji Na Song. The following actors would make a return.
