The story of this show follows a group of privileged and rich high school students. There is also family drama along with romantic drama. Kim Tan gets exiled to the United States by his brother Kim Won. Won wants to take over the family business. Tan meets a girl named Cha Eun Sang in the U.S. and falls for her even though he is already engaged. The show is about what challenges these students face as they deal with family, romance and taking over their family businesses. We expect the second season to pick up from where the first one left off.

The show is led by a stellar cast and crew. The show has two directors; Kang Shin Hyo and Boo Sung Chul. The writer of the show is Kim Eun Sook. It also benefits from the talents of Lee Kwang Young, Choi Ji Young and Choi Yong Joon, the creative directors. To round off the team, there is the cast of excellent actors. This romantic drama was so popular that international broadcasting rights were sold to 13 countries. The show aired all over Asia and in Romania as well. If and when the second season does happen we expect a similar pattern to follow. Of course, this depends on the popularity of the second season and how well its reception is. Inheritors Season 2 Release Date
The finale of the show aired on December 12, 2013, and there has been nothing but silence since then. As a result, there is no official release date for Inheritors Season 2. However, there is an expectation that there will be a second season. It’s important to note that the show has won a number of awards as well. So, there is definitely demand and appreciation for it. Even though Korean dramas have a reputation for only being around for one season, anything is possible.
If an announcement does happen, we expect it to be in early to mid-2021. Viewers will just have to wait to see what SBS TV says.
