Avatar is the science fiction that was being directed, produced, and written by none other than famous James Cameron. It was being released on December 18, 2009. The budget of the movie was $237 million and it was able to collect about $2.79 billion all over the globe. It was the first film to gross more than $2 billion all across the world. Avatar still holds the record of second-highest-grossing film.
When Avatar 2 can be Released?
Avatar 2 is currently being planned to be released on December 17, 2021. It has been news that there are going to be more three sequels. Even their release date is being planned like respectively on December 22, 2023, December 19, 2025, December 17, 2027. There may be some changes in the release date but that’s all we can say now.
The cast of Avatar 2
Sam Worthington will be seen as Jake Sully. Zoe Saldana can be seen as Neytiri. Joel David Moore is expected to be seen as Dr. Norm Spellman.
Sigourney Weaver who did play the role of Dr. Grace Augustine. Yes, I know she was being dead in the first part but James Cameron himself did confirm that she will be part of the sequel.
Vin Diesel and CJ Jones are also going to be part of the sequel. We will be expecting some more characters to be back from the previous film and some new faces also.
What to Expect from Avatar 2?
The producer of Avatar 2 did say that each movie is a standalone movie so even if you didn’t see the first movie it doesn’t matter you don’t need to see the first movie in order to see the second part. The producer did state that water plays a huge part in movies. Even James Cameron did mention about the shooting underwater.
He discussed the difficulties which he faced during the shooting underwater. There will be some underwater scenes that will take keep us speechless once again. We can expect to see that Jake Sully formed a family with Neytiri and exploring Pandora. We can expect that R.D.A. will once again try to attack Pandora.
