Fans have been waiting to hear news on the release date of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Season 2. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is an anime series by Wit Studio, famous for Attack on Titan. This award-winning post-apocalyptic series is written by Ichirō Ōkouchi and directed by Tetsurō Araki.
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 has not been officially announced yet. The release date will be announced by the Wit studio very soon. We can expect it to release in 2021. On April 8, 2016, season 1 of the show premiered. Following the success of season 1, a couple of compilation anime films were released on December 31,2o16, and January 7, 2017, serving as anthology films for the first and second halves of season 1.
Much to the delight of fans, ‘Koutetsujou no Kabaneri Movie 3’ which is the third movie, released on May 10, 2019. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato, a Netflix series continues the story of the first season. The series was released in May 2019 and had 3 episodes.

The Plot of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Season 2
While traveling on a train, a large group of survivors seeks shelter after their station was attacked by a deadly creature called Kabane.
Meanwhile, the world is undergoing an industrial revolution, a monster appears that cannot be conquered unless its heart is pierced because it is protected by a layer of iron. The monster can create more deadly creatures, Kabane by infecting humans with a bite. On Hinomoto island people have built stations to save themselves from such creatures.

Ikoma, a boy who lives in the Aragane station creates Tsuranukizutsu, a weapon to defeat the creatures. The staff on Hayajiro, the locomotive turn into creatures and the station is now under attack. Ikoma gets an opportunity that he has been looking for. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Season 2 coming anytime soon?
