Mad Dog is an action crime-drama South Korean television series starring Yoo Ji-Tae, Woo Do-hwan, and Ryu Hwa-young. It aired on KBS 2TV, from October 11, 2017, to November 30, 2017. Will Mad Dog Season 2 coming soon?
The story revolves around Choi Kang-Woo, a former detective. He worked as a veteran insurance investigator. Also, he leads a team that attempts to reveal insurance fraud cases. He decides to create his own investigation team, after an airplane crash that took the life of his wife and son.
The Series won 2 awards and 3 nominations in the KBS Drama show.

- Yoo Ji-Tae as Choi Kang-woo
- An ex-cop and leader of the Mad Dog team. He has good eyes, a sharp instinct that helps him achieve a 99% arrest rate.
- Woo Do-hwan as Kim Min-joon / Jan Gebauer
- A genius former swindler who was abandoned by his parents. He has wits and guts instinct, allowing him to transform into anybody.
- Ryu Hwa-young as Jang Ha-ri
- A former competing gymnast is skilled at disguising herself to investigate insurance fraud schemes.

- An ex thug with striking criminal records, who now becomes an insurance investigator dreams of becoming a pediatric nurse for his love of children.
- Kim Hye-sung as Ohn Nu-ri
- A computer genius who is allergic to the sun and hates going outside.
- Hong Soo-Hyun as Cha Hong-Joo
- The only daughter of Cha Joon-kyu.
Mad Dog Season 2 Release Date
Though the K-Drama wasn’t the best, it caught the attention of many viewers. But with that being said, It failed to garner a huge viewership base.
As for season 2, we hate to admit it, but Mad dog won’t be getting a season 2. The story ended with all people working together as a team. Their final plot to corner Hyun-gi went about as smoothly as anyone could have hoped for and it’s a happy note to leave the series.
