After watching the two spine-chiller seasons of “Mind Hunter,” fans are excited about season3 of the series. Created by Joe Penhall, Mind Hunter is an American crime thriller series, which is based on a real crime book “Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s elite serial crime unit.”
MindHunter Season 3: Base Story
FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench operates the training division at FBI Academy in Virginia. They used to interview imprisoned serial killers to get to know how these serial killers think, and that’s how they get an idea to solve ongoing cases. The first season of the series set in 1977 to 1980 when there were initial days of criminal psychology and criminal profiling at the FBI. These agents understand how a serial killer’s mind works with the help of Edmund Kemper. The Atlanta murder case of 1979-1981 was broadcasted in the second season of the series.

Currently, David Fincher is busy working on his ongoing project on “MANK,” a biopic about Herman J. Mankiewicz. Fincher once told that he has plans for broadcasting five seasons in total for Mind Hunter, and therefore fans can get a sigh of relief if they thought that season 3 might not come. Talking about season 3 of the series, the main leading actor Jonathan Groff also said during an interview that season three is “on hold.”
