Norn9, a Japanese adventure television anime series. On March 2, 2014, Idea Factory announced during the Norn9 with Ark & for Spica event about an anime series. It was held at Tokyo’s Nakano Sun Plaza. Consequently, it was also revealed that Norn9: Norn + Nonet would be the hero of the series. The series is directed by Takao Abo and written by Natsuko Takahashi. Additionally, the music composer is Kevin Penkin. The anime aired from January 7 to March 31, 2016. It premiered on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV networks in the Japanese version. On the other hand, the English version aired on Aniplus HD. It consisted of a total of 12 episodes. About Norn9 Season 2
The series is set in the year 1919. In the first episode, we are introduced to a mysterious teenage girl. She arrives on the sailing ship Norn9. In this ship, there are several teenagers with special abilities gathered. Later, we become aware of their names. There are 2 girls named Mikoto Kuga and Nanami Shiranui. Also, there are 8 other boys Kakeru Yuiga, Senri Ichinose, Masamune Tōya, Sakuya Nijō, Itsuki Kagami, Akito Shukuri, Ron Muroboshi, and Heishi Otomaru. Will we have another Norn9 Season 2?
The teenagers are a part of an organization known as The World. The superpowers of the kids are used to maintain the peace and harmony of Earth. Also, it helps to know more about the fellow species. Mikoto has forgotten her name, so Kakeru accompanies her. Together, they perform several tasks and also start taking care of a peach tree. However, she falls from a tree while trying to pick a ripe peach. She is saved by Kakeru from landing in the water. Just after that, the mysterious girl remembers her name: Koharu. In the finale episode, everyone is living peacefully back on land. The leads Nanami, Akito, and Koharu are living together in a rented house by the sea. Heishi, now a professional flute player, reunites with Itsuki in a snowy outpost station in Japan. The newly appointed president of The World is Masamune. He sends a message to the world to try and change the future and wants to put an end to the conflict.

On the other hand, Mikoto trains daily to master her skills. Besides, she also tries her hand at piloting an aircraft, with the help of Setsu. We also see Sorata is working as a mechanical engineer with Natsuhiko. Koharu visits Norn9 and finds the peach tree. It’s stayed under the protection of Kakeru’s power all along. Finally, Kakeru and Koharu also reunite.

Studio Orange and Kinema Citrus co-produced the debut season of the anime. Until now, fans haven’t heard from either of them ever since the debut season finale. Both of the studios neither renewed nor canceled the anime for its second season. So, the availability of its source material totally depends on the release of the new game. So, far Otomate hasn’t developed any other game in this franchise. We are all ears and will inform you once we learn of more developments on Norn9 Season 2.
