The highly anticipated Overlord Season 4 might finally return. This is after a long two-year gap after Overlord III aired in Summer 2018. To the joy of fans worldwide, the anime staff announced Season 4 in August 2019.

The tv series adaption has completed three seasons with 13 episodes each. The protagonist is reincarnated as a villain in a fantasy world. It manages to buck the trend of Light novel protagonists who serve as mere self-insert devices and lack their personalities.
Especially with the latest season, we had Ainz in full supervillain mode to conquer his enemies, and the show has progressed to another stage of the characters” development.

There is no confirmation on the date as to when season 4 will release, but the expected time is around Spring 2020, studio Madhouse has been tightly lipped about further details. It seems like we have to wait till a trailer release for any further details

The first three seasons of the same name were done according to the three volumes made into 13 episodes per season. Season 4 is likely to have 13 episodes as well. If this is not going to change, “Overlord” season 4 is expected to end with a major cliffhanger.
The author himself has clearly said that he wanted to write around 20 volumes. There is no guarantee if and when viewers will be able to see the completion of the story.
The irregular timings have kept the viewers eager and waiting. It has been two years since the last season released. We will update as soon as any confirmation comes. Till then, all we can do is wait, wait, and wait.
