Panchayat Season 2 is an Indian Comedy Drama Series, directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra. The show had eight episodes and was premiered on 3rd April 2020. The show is very popular with the masses as it gained a total of 8.7 scores on IMDb out of 22,137 ratings as of writing. Today we are going to discuss the possibility of Season 2 being made of the popular show.

Panchayat Season 2 features a young man called Abhishek Tripathi a young man who after graduation gets a job at a remote village of Phulera. There he gets a job as the Panchayat Secretary, but upon visiting the village, he thinks that the condition of the village is completely unbearable and decided to crack the CAT exams and taking admission into IIMs.
One fine day, he gets instructions from BDO to put up a family planning slogan, if he doesn’t, he will face strict action from the BDO. But Abhishek finds himself in a tough dilemma because all the villagers threaten to not vote for him in the next election unless he removes the slogan.
In the seventh episode, we see Abhishek has failed to crack the CAT Exams and has no choice but to scrap his plans. Afterward, his plan gets changed, and decides to give the CAT Exams another shot.

There is officially no confirmation about Panchayat Season 2 right now. But it can expect to be announced sooner rather than later. The climax of the show featured a more determined Abhishek, so the story can be picked up from there. Also, the show was very popular, so it would be very idiotic for them to end the show after one season.

Panchayat Season 2 Release Date
No Release Date has been announced for Panchayat Season 2 so far. But we are expecting the show to be released somewhere around late-2021 or early-2022. The pandemic has delayed all the production processes, so most likely they haven’t shot anything of the second season. So considering that we would guess the show to be released on the above-mentioned time-period.
