KGF is a Kannada-historical action film directed by Prashanth Neel. The film was initially out on December 20, 2018, in the USA and Canada. It was released on December 21, 2018, in India and had a digital release on February 5, 2019.
The film was launched in multiple languages like Telugu, Hindi, Malayam, and Tamil. The Kannada film was distributed by Hombale films & released with a budget of 50-80 crores and hit the box-office with around 250 crores. KGF was a huge blockbuster and had a great impact on the audience.
The director Prashanth Neel is back with the second chapter of the film, produced by Vijay Kirugandur.

KGF Chapter 2 is the continuation of Chapter 1. KGF 2 will probably release on October 23, 2020, and will be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
The plot revolves around Rocky, a young boy who was born poor and later moved to Mumbai and aims to seek power and wealth as his mother wishes him to be, during her last breath. He is entailed in the gold mafia and was hired to kill Garuda.
The film is full of action and terror. Chapter 2 awaits the audience as the Bollywood actor Dutt’s role will be more interesting. The director stated that Chapter 2’s action would be doubled to Chapter 1, we could expect the plot, and KGF 2 will be more violent than ever before.
Yash has attained many fans all over and has become the world’s favorite action hero. Dutt was initially offered Chapter 1, but he couldn’t turn up due to his busy schedule. However, this time he accepted the offer keeping his works aside as he doesn’t want to miss the chance and stated that he has been waiting for this kind of a role in his career.
