More Monsters, More action in Promised Neverland Season 2
Creators of the hit anime series Promised Neverland just confirmed that they already have started on season 2 of the series. The Promised Neverland follows three orphans, namely Emma, Norman, and Ray in Grace Field Orphanage.
Unlike the cliched story where the orphanage is in bad shape, with inadequate food supply and rude caretaker, Orphanage in Promised Neverland shows the orphanage in good shape with delicious food, clean clothes, and caretaker whom the kids refer to as Mom.
Things get interesting when one day, Emma and others discover a terrible secret about the outside world which they were not supposed to. The secret forces kids to find ways to leave their comfortable life at the orphanage, which is next to impossible, and the situation is made worse by monsters lurking in every corner and aided by the caretaker.
Action or Horror?
This Anime falls under the horror category and rightly so. Season One focused on the kids trying to get out and away from ugly and terrible monsters, and Season 2 will focus on Emma trying to keep her promise. Season 2 is also expected to put the spotlight on what happened to Norman If he is still alive or not? Like most of the animes, Promised Neverland is also based on a manga, which is ongoing but is likely to end next year.
Season 1 started airing in January 2019 and finished in March 2019. The anime performed really well and is available for streaming on a number of platforms such as Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FUNimation.
Promised Neverland Season 2 production Started Already
Director of the show recently, in an Anime Expo 2019, admitted that creating Season 2 is a challenge for him and his team, but they are excited about it and have already begun working. Anime Intelligence Report estimates the time of the release of the new season to be sometime in October of 2020.
What about the Promised Neverland Season 2 Teaser?
Teaser with scenes from the first season for season 2 has also been released. The teaser does not really offer anything, but Fans are eager to see how well the hit anime series progress.
