Its success can easily be credited to its glorious cast members who have donned their roles with a charismatic aura. In a way, the show doesn’t bring anything new to the platter of pre-existing political dramas. It portrays the same path led by mafia influenced rivalries ending in bloodbaths. However, Bollywood excels in this genre and each series belonging to this category always finds its own way to engage the audience. Raktanchal Season 2 Announcement & Release Date
Several media houses have been spreading updates regarding the renewal of Season 2. Raktanchal has definitely received the green signal and will be premiering its Season 2 on MX Player soon enough. However, a firm date of release has not been disclosed as of now. Our best guess at the moment is that its release date will be somewhere towards the latter half of 2021. Season 1 of the hit series was revealed on MX Player on 28 May 2020. The mini web series went on for a total of 9 episodes.
The Storyline
Set in the 80s’ Purvanchal (Uttar Pradesh) comes to a story based on real events about the rivalry between Vijay Singh and Waseem Khan wherein both want to rise to the top of the mafia scene. The violent and bloodthirsty approach undertaken by the series depicts how the corrupt agents of the government are involved in backing up such criminals. Put all the vices associated with Politics, Money, Authority and you get a taste of the blood-stained crime scene, and that’s Raktanchal in a nutshell basically. Raktanchal Season 2 will pick up its plot from here.
