Re: Zero – Starting Life in another world shook the anime world after its initial release. The series that premiered in 2016 completely consumed the fancy of so many anime fans. Consequently, rumors about the release of Re: Zero – Season 2 began to fly. Fans have been speculating regarding the release for a really long time and have certainly waited enough.
So, will Re: Zero gets a season 2 or will fan have to continue to wait?

Re Zero Serie: Quick Recap
Re: Zero is an anime based on Tappei Nagatsuki’s light novel series of the same name. The anime belongs to the Adventure and Dark Fantasy genres. The light novel’s illustrator is Shinichirou Otsuka. White Fox Animations produces the anime while Masaharu Watanabe directs it. Masahiro Yokotani is an anime writer.
Re: Zero follows the life of Subaru Natsuki, a hikikomori. A hikikomori refers to a recluse adolescent or adult, whose life is socially focussed inwards. Natsuki suddenly finds himself transported to another world on his way home from the convenience store.
The series has received various awards and has been extremely popular.
Re Zero Season 2: All Updates
There is absolutely zero doubt about it. Re: Zero will be getting a season 2. The news was released about a year ago by White Fox Animations. The show was going to air from April 2020 on various Japanese networks.
Unfortunately, this will not be happening any longer. But, there is still hope! White Fox animations stated that the anime will get a delayed-release. This is due to the Coronavirus outbreak that forced the world to come to an almost standstill. It is also because production for the season has halted as it has been outsourced to Chinese studios.

The wait isn’t unbearably long though, the anime will now be released sometime in July 2020. Following all this, the opening and closing themes’ release has also been delayed.
Re Zero Serie: Cast & Trailer
The second season will have 25 episodes. Some of the cast will be reprising their roles in Season 2. This includes Yusuke Kobayashi, Rie Takahashi, Yumi Uchiyama, and Inori Minase.
