After the grand success of Deadpool 2, fans are already wondering what might come next. Though Reynolds did confirm Deadpool 3, there is no specific news as to when the movie will release. Ryan Reynolds also mentioned that making these movies is a slow process, so it might be a while before Deadpool 3 hits the silver screens.
On Christmas eve, Ryan Reynolds appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan, where he said, “We’re working on it with the whole team,” Reynolds said. “We’re over at Marvel now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kind of crazy.” He also talked about collaborating with The Rock (Dwyane Johnson) for a Netflix film called Red Notice, but that’s a piece of rough information about The Rock’s presence in Deadpool 3.
“Marvel has promised to continue to let us play in the R-rated Deadpool universe, and the hope is that they will also let us veer into the MCU a little bit as well and play in that sandbox. Our feeling and Ryan’s feeling is that it’s got to be the right idea, it’s got to be great… I think once we collectively agree on what idea that the great idea is, we’ll be off to the races.” , Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick told EW back in October.
