SF8 Season 2: Release Date, Is the show Cancelled? Plot and Everything Else!

SF8, a sci-fi Korean series featured on 14 August 2020. The show premiered on MBC and the OTT platform- Wavve. The series is considered equivalent to the popular sci-fi show-Black Mirror. Both the series share the same themes and plot. However, Director Min Kyu-dong denied the comparison. He stated that unlike the Black Mirror, 8 different directors were roped in for SF8. Season 1 had a successful runtime. However, given the huge budget, is SF8 Season 2 canceled? Read on to find out more about the show.

Release Date of SF8 Season 2

According to a post of Episode. Guide, Season 2 of the series is canceled. The reason cited is the ongoing crisis. Given the huge budget required for a sci-fi series, nobody should be blamed. However, the series has garnered a huge fan base. Hence, we can have high hopes for a Season 2. We’ll let you know once we learn more.

The Storyline 

If your cup of tea includes dramas with themes – artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robot games, and fantasy, the SF8 is just for you. It features 8 stand-alone episodes, each with a different cast. It revolves around people who fantasize about a perfect society. The eight titles are-  The prayer, Manxin, Joan’s Galaxy, Blink, Baby it’s Over Outside, White Crow, Love Virtually, and Empty Body.
