The Plot
The Curse of Oak Island follows two brothers Marty and Rick Lagina, who are from Michigan. They find and speculate the treasures and artifacts on oak island. This series discusses the history of the island, discoveries, theories, and the attempts made to understand it all.
It explores various theories about oak island with independent researchers. Some of them are as follows: Hutton Pulitzer discusses his theory of ancient mariner visitations. Peter Amundsen discusses his theory of codes hidden in Shakespearean Literature and a secret project involving Francis Bacon. Zena Halpern discusses her theory of North African gold and shares copies of a french map of the island.
This latest episode, 5, is titled ‘Alignment’, and follows the crew as they discover that an evolving theory correctly describes some anomalies. Money Pit is one of them. A little recap of the last episode: the brothers have been looking for evidence regarding the Knights Templar, how the medieval christian sect had buried treasure on the island. Their fellow historians informed them of the geometric figure in Nicolas Poussin’s paintings which could pave their way to buried treasure. They are sure that the Knights Templar dug up Solomon treasure that consisted of Menorah. The Menorah could be buried in the oak island.

The core group of the cast includes Rick Lagina, Marty Lagiana, Alex Lagina, Dan Blankenship, Dave Blankenship, Craig Tester, Jack Begley, Dan Henskee, Charles Barkhouse, among others.
