Developed by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, The Expanse is an American science fiction TV series which is based on the series of the novel by James S. A. Corey. The series has a science fiction genre that is shaped in the future where humans have colonized the solar system.
The Expanse Season 5: Storyline
As we know that season 4 was taken from the novel Cibola Burn, 2014, so we can expect the story of season 5 to be taken from the next year’s sequel Nemesis Games. This sequel tells about the increased interruptions in the solar system. We are expecting that the story of season 5 will show the private life of the central cast i.e., Amos returns to Earth, Naomi’s past to haunt her, Alex visited his wife on Mars, etc.
The story will be much more interesting as it will go on various directions due to different stories of the cast.
The Expanse Season 5: Cast
Steven Strait, as Rocinante captain Jim Holden, Cas Anver as Alex Kamal, the ship’s pilot, will make a comeback as the main cast member of the show. They are also a member of Rocinante’s technical crew along with Dominique Tripper as Naomi and Wes Chatham as Amos.
There is no revealing about the addition of new cast members, so we are expecting that the same crew will return as of now.
The Expanse Season 5: Release Date
The first season of the show was released on Syfy, but later it was canceled. But fortunately, Amazon saved the series by picking it up for its season 4. After that, some people were saying that the show will end now, but giving a surprise to everyone, Amazon renewed it for season 5 even before season 4 was aired. So after the renewal, everybody is waiting for the release date of season 5. Since now, there is no release date officially announced.
