The Fiery Priest Season 2 trended on social media after the finale of the first season. It is a very popular K drama, written by Park Jae-bum and directed by Myoungwoo Lee. The Fiery Priest was one of the highest-rated dramas of 2019. The intense theme of the drama is balanced with absurd humor and heartwarming characters. The Fiery Priest season 1 is available on Netflix.
The Fiery Priest Season 2: Release Date
The Fiery Priest makers after the finale of the drama released a statement saying that they were in talks for a second season currently. The release date or the official announcement about a sequel has not been made by anybody to date. Nothing has been confirmed by the makers as there are many matters to be considered but they are definitely in talks.
The Plot
The protagonist of the drama is Priest Kim Hae, a short-tempered Catholic Priest who fights for justice by generally using his fists. He has a troubled past. After repeatedly getting into trouble at his local police station, he is sent to live in Gudam, Seoul where his ex-teacher Father Lee lives.
While he tries to get control over his bad temper, Father Lee is murdered and framed for several crimes that he did not commit under the pretense of him committing suicide. Priest Kim finds himself thrown into the corrupt world of town’s higher-ups. The story moves forward and along the way we see alliances changing and revenge being doled out.
Hopefully, the second season would move forward from where the first season ended.
