The American anthology supernatural horror drama web television series created and directed by Mike Flanagan for Netflix produced by Amblin Television and Paramount Television.
The Haunting of Hill House, officially titled The Haunting of Bly Manor, is unlikely to be delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. Haunting of Hill House premiered on Netflix in 2018 to great success and well-reviewed by the audience.
Last year, it was declared there would be a second season of the show, but with a completely different premise.
The second season which is called ” The Haunting of Bly Manor” will be based on The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, and we can assume the return of some core cast from season 1, like Victoria Pedretti, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Henry Thomas, and Kate Siegel.
The Haunting of Hill House Season 2 Release Date
As of now, we know there is no official release date that has been announced, but according to some reports the season two can be released somewhere in 2020. for example, The Haunting of Hill House premiered in October.
The coronavirus pandemic has cast a lot of suspicion over the entertainment industry, mainly when it comes to releasing dates.
While superior studios have moved their biggest 2020 films to later months or next year to bypass the pandemic, production closings have driven back future dates for 2021 movies.
For pattern, recently viewed Warner Bros. moving The Batman and other DC films around because of several production problems. When it comes to Netflix, much of their ongoing productions have been prevented, like for season 4 of Stranger Things and season 2 of The Witcher.
The Haunting of Hill House’s main lead Mike Flanagan tweet on Twitter to update fans on the status of season 2.
According to Flanagan, things are still “on schedule.” because they wrapped production before the various shutdowns. Post-production is in progress at home, and “At the moment no reason to think it’ll be pushed.” Flanagan also admitted it’s “shaping up wonderfully; I’m thrilled with it.” You can see his full tweet below:

We don’t know how long this pandemic will continue. There is some speculation that Netflix will no longer be able to produce a series for some time. We just hope that everything will be fine soon.
Still, Netflix’s chief content officer Ted Sarandos lately requested the streamer would be covered until later in the year when it might run into some difficulties.
Including shows like The Umbrella Academy and The Haunting of Hill House, hopefully covering up post-production soon, we hope Netflix will be normal after some time.
