The King’s Avatar Season 2 also known as Quanzhi Gaoshou is a donghua ONA series. The web series depicts the fictional esports situation in China. The story revolves around a multiplayer game called Glory.
The series caught success and glory as soon as it was released and was loved by people from all over the world. For this reason, a 3 part special prequel was released on April 27, 2018, as a gift to the fans and to increase the excitement among the show enthusiasts. With its astounding success, ONA finally released the second season.

The king’s avatar is a donghua original net animation (ONA) which is based on a novel called “The King’s Avatar” written by Hu Dielan. The show is Written by Sha Liang and directed by Ke Xiong and produced by a Chinese Animation studio called G.CMay Animation & Film. It was released by Chinese internet giant Tencent on its video streaming platform. The anime show revolves around a multiplayer online video game called Glory while depicting the fictional esports scene in China.

Unfortunately for international viewers, the show isn’t available in any other language except Chinese. Although if you want to watch The King’s Avatar Season 2 in Chinese with English subtitles you can find each episode on Youtube or other similar streaming websites.
About The Show
The show follows the story of Ye Xiu who once was at the top of the food chain and widely regarded as a trailblazer. He was a professional player in the online multiplayer game called Glory. Ye Xiu is dubbed as the battle god for his skills and contributions to this multiplayer game. Unfortunately for him, he was forced to retire from the team and the gaming world. After which he started working at a nearby internet cafe.
There, when Glory launches its tenth server, he goes back into the gaming world. This time without a sponsor or team, using the player name “Lord Grim”. Ye Xiu’s fast-growing achievements catch the eye of many players immediately, leaving everyone wondering about the identity of Lord Grim. With his 10 years of experience and extensive knowledge, he fights to go back to the top and to be back in the Glory’s summit, around which the whole series is based.
The King’s Avatar Season 2: Release date
The first season was premiered on April 7, 2017, and ran till June 16 of the same year. A year later in April 2018, a three-episode prequel was released from April 27 and lasted till May 11, 2018. Finally, the first episode of the second season was aired on September 25, 2020, and is still ongoing. It is expected to last for 12 episodes.
