The Kissing Booth is a coming of age teen romantic comedy film series based on the novels by Beth Reekles. Written and directed by Vince Marcello, it first aired in 2018 on Netflix. A sequel to The Kissing Booth was released in 2020, The Kissing Booth 2. even though it was a commercial success as reported by Netflix, it received negative reviews by the critics who dubbed the plot and themes to be misogynistic and cliche. The Kissing Booth 3 coming in 2021?
The Kissing Booth 3 Release Date
shortly after the release of the sequel, Netflix confirmed that there will be another installation of the kissing booth trilogy. The Kissing Booth part 3 has already been filmed and is set to release in 2021 on Netflix.

The Plot
The Kissing Booth follows a group of teenagers and their quirky romance stories.
Elle Evans and Lee Flynn have been life long best friends. As she grows older she develops a crush on Noah Flynn, Lee’s older brother. Even though she tries to ignore it, her appreciation only deepens for him.
We see how Noah has warned everyone in the school to not pursue Elle romantically. Later on, Elle and lee come up with the idea for their school’s fundraiser and open up a kissing booth. They commercialize the booth by spreading the word that Noah will be a part of it. This leads to a very welcoming and roaring crowd at the event. The girls are disappointed by presence of Lee instead of Noah. Elle is blindfolded and kissed by Noah.
After the identity of her mystery kiss is revealed, Elle tells Noah that she has feelings for him and cannot be just another sexual quest for him. In a rather dramatic way, we see that Noah confesses to her as well his feeling for her.
The drama starts to unfold. Noah has been accepted into Harvard University and they both swear to not let Lee find out about their relationship. There are a number of cliche events that follow henceforth.
Elle and Noah confess their love for each other and spend time together until he leaves for college.
The Cast
This show stars Joey King as Elle, Joel Courtney as Lee Flynn, Jacob Elordie as Noah Flynn, Meganne Young as Rachel, among others.
