The Taskmaster for the upcoming Marvel movie Black Widow might be played by Jeremy Renner AKA Hawkeye.
As the Black Widow trailer came to the surface for the fans, the viewers were left with raised eyebrows. A scene in the trailer left the viewers thinking that the taskmaster for this movie may be Hawkeye. The scene emerges with the introduction of a taskmaster who arises from the car top, with a bow and an arrow in an eerily similar stance. The same stance that Hawkeye is famous for. The movements of the antagonist mirror those of Clint Barton’s.
The Black Widow movie is set right after the period of the civil war from the movie Captain America: Civil War. This means that the Black Widow is present in flesh and blood. This means that the rest of the avenger’s crew is also alive. The reason why we think that the Taskmaster is Clint Barton is that Clint has very good experience in getting himself brainwashed. Two times exactly to be more specific.
There are many scenes in the Avengers series, where the duo discusses the Budapest incident, which we don’t know the details about. The incident is their shared past. So, it can be a possibility that the event of history will surface in detail in the upcoming movie. Also, Natasha’s claim in the Avengers movie where she said, “Agent Barton was sent to kill me. He made a different call.”
The cast for the movie will present Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov. O.T. Fagbenle as Rick Mason. William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross and other performers who will take part in the cast of this movie.
The movie is set to release on May 1st, 2020.
