But to her shock, Su-won reveals his true colors during that night when he organizes a coup and kills her father to take over the throne, she escapes with her bodyguard Hak, and that is the basic plot of the anime. They escape to the Capital of Fuuga, the village of Wind Clan.
After a while, they meet Ik-Soo, the oracle who tells Yona about the myth of the four dragons involved in the creation of Kouka and instructs her to find the descendants of the four dragons.
On her travel, she meets first of the four dragons (not a literal one) named Kija (the descendant of the white dragon), he recognizes her as the descendant of King Hiryuu (crimson dragon and the founder of Kouka), he then reveals that he was destined to protect her, he also has the power of super-strength.
She then meets the blue dragon warrior, who can paralyze anyone who looks at his eye, she gives him the name of Shin-Ah. She later meets the green dragon warrior (with the ability to jump high), named Jae Ha, and the yellow dragon warrior (no special ability) named Zeno.
In Season 2, we can expect Yona to return to the kingdom of Kouka to take her revenge and also Zena, the yellow dragon warrior to have some kind of special power which will be important for the climax of the story.

Yona of the Dawn Season 2 Release Date
As of writing, there is no official release date for now. But with the abundant source material and fan interest, there is no doubt that season 2 will be coming. Add to that, the vague unconcluded ending of Yona of the Dawn Season 1, we can for sure say that we will be hearing about Season 2 soon.
At this point, the best guess will be somewhere around mid 2023-late 2023, bearing in mind all the production hassles that need to be taken care of.
