A Japanese manga series ‘Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai’ has a precise paraphrase ‘Shinometa’. Also, Some are familiar with it by the name of ‘Shimoseka’. Even Though, the brim name of the anime is ‘Shimoneta: A Boring society Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Subsist’. Therefore, the name of the anime says a whole lot about the assumption or genre of this anime. An author of Japan: Hirotaka Akagi wrote nine volumes of the light novel series, whereas, Eito Shimotsuki is the illustrator. After the release of Season 1 in 2015 fans have been waiting for Shimoneta Season 2 ever since.
This series is based on a novel kind of series. The popularity of the series reached such better height that soon the anime modification of this specific series started to premiere during the year 2015. The production houses are J.C.Staff and Independent Japanese Studio. Moreover, the initial season of the anime had only twelve episodes which received all applaud and popularity among the audience globally.

The whole set up of this story is in a dystopian alternate Japan where people are immured inside a set of jarring directives. They are not permitted to imprecate, ridicule, or enact any such activity or they would be punished by the government. The main proponent of the story, Tanukichi desires to make his voice heard. The government rules are like a danger to his plans, so he plans a strategy to break free the people from these harsh rules set by the government. Shimoneta Season 2 coming soon?
The Official Announcement
There has been no official announcement about the renewal of the series and the development of Shimoneta Season 2 so far. Season 1 of the anime covered a total of eight volumes of the light novels. And Shokagugan has published eleven volumes so far since July 2012 under their mark.

Shimoneta Season 2 Release Date
There have been no official announcements so far. But, there are many reports about a sequel under progress. We cannot believe any of the claims but looking up by the popularity of the initial season, we can expect Shimoneta Season 2 shortly for sure. There is plenty more of the storyline than what has been analyzed in the initial season, so there’s no reason that the anime will be dropped. Our best guess is that the season 2 release date could fall sometime around the year 2021. We update this section as soon as we hear of that.
