Licensed by Funimation, the Fairy Tail series received an animated release in 2009. Season 9 came out in 2019 and concluded the storyline for once and for all. However, it won’t come as a surprise if the creator of the series decides to build the story ahead in the future. This might lead to a possible Fairy Tail Season 10 or a movie. But presently, we must bid adieu to our favorite characters in the hope of meeting again in the future.
The anime has had a long run based on the Japanese manga series of the same name created by Hiro Mashima. The beloved characters of this adventure ride transport us to the world of wizards and dragons, and it couldn’t be any more thrilling. The fans have been waiting for the announcement of Fairy Tail Season 10, but it seems like our fun ride was limited to only 9 seasons.

Fairy Tail Season 10 Official Announcement
The Fairy Tail saga seems to have reached its finish line for now. All the arcs of the story have been developed in the previous seasons and completed thereafter. Season 9 gave the show the conclusive ending it was looking forward to. As hard as it is for all of us, we must move on from this series and venture into the world of many other animes.

Fairy Tail Season 10 Storyline
A place called “Earth-land” is discovered through the series, where wizards make ends meet with their magical abilities. Amidst it all, we find Natsu Dragneel, a dragon slayer belonging to the Fairy Tail guild who is in search of the dragon Igneel.
His adventurous search introduces him to Lucy Heartfilia, a celestial wizard. The duo, accompanied by Natsu’s sidekick ‘Happy’ embark on a journey and are consequently joined by some other wizards of the Fairy Tail guild. Together they combat several dark forces head-on.

The 9th Season of Fairy Tail developed the Avatar arc and Alvarez arc mentioned in the mangas.

Fairy Tail Season 10 Release Date
There is no future for Season 10. However, the anime world is one such place that never lets us give up. Maybe the future will bring us a movie, spin-off series or an OVA special inspired by the original series. Nothing can be said, for now, ultimately it all depends on Hiro Mashima.
