Steven Universe is an American Animated series airing on Cartoon Network and created by Rebecca Sugar. The pilot was broadcast on May 21, 2013, and has aired 5 seasons since, with its 160th episode airing on January 21, 2019. The show has garnered critical acclaim with five Emmy nominations. Steven Universe Season 6 Storyline
In the show, the world is protected by the group known as Crystal Gems, a group sworn to protect Earth from Homeworld Gems, led by the Great Diamond Authority. The members of the Crystal Gems are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven. There are also other subordinates in the group like Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, Bismuth, and Connie Maheswaran.
In its 160th episode, Steven, Connie, and other members of the group try to change the perception of themselves, which is held by the Diamond Group.

There has been no announcement of Season 6 by Cartoon Network so far. But the writer Rebecca Sugar, said that we will be seeing more of Steven Universe. Other thing she said was “I’m certainly interested in spending more time in this world with these characters. But the thing about Steven Universe, it’s about Steven Universe and I want to give him the time to heal,” Sugar says. “I want to give that to my team as well. So I’m not really sure for certain what’s going to happen in the future. I have a few ideas, but I’m going to take a little time to reevaluate everything before I jump into them.” This should be taken with a grain of salt, as there could be various possibilities and interpretations when she said ‘seeing more of”, like spin-offs, prequels, even a movie as well.
Steven Universe Cast
If Season 6 gets announced, it is more than likely that the new season would have the same cast. So, Zach Callison as the titular Steven, Deedee Magno as Pearl, Michaela Dietz as Amethyst, Estelle as Garnet, Grace Rolek as Connie Maheswaran, Tom Scharpling as Greg Universe, Shelby Rabara as Peridot, Matthew Moy as Lars Barriga, and many others will probably be back for more.
Steven Universe Season 6 Release Date
No new announcement has been made for season 6, so obviously, there hasn’t been any release date. It is more than likely that after airing 6 seasons, Rebecca Sugar would like to take a hiatus, so any announcement in the upcoming months is highly unlikely. The series would probably get announced during mid -2021. So, with all the productions hassles that they have to go through, the sixth season would likely be telecast somewhere around early-to mid-2022.
