Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 is an upcoming South Korean television series. Season 1 of the series was directed by Kim Won-Seok and war written by Kim Young-Hyun and Park Sang-Yeon. It aired every Saturday and Sunday on tvN starting from June 1, 2019.
It premiered internationally on Netflix and became a massive hit among its fans and therefore seeing its massive critical and commercial success Season 2 is being renewed by Netflix.

Arthdal Chronicles Story Synopsis
It is a story of Eun-Seom who struggles to bring his tribe back to life and traces his own roots going through the process. He dwells in a mythical place popularly known as Arthdal. Series deals with the birth of a kingdom and the power struggle.
Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Expected Cast
- Ta-gon is the head of the Daekan Troops. He is known for his sharp intelligence and strong physicality. His father is San-Ung, who is the leader of the Arthdal Union. Jang Dong-gun has played the role of Ta-gon.
- Eun-Seom is considered one of the most powerful enemies of Ta-gon. He has an identical twin Saya. They are a hybrid of the Saram (the human race) and the Neanthal, a pair of Igutus born during the Great War. According to an old Arthdal prophecy, they are born to bring calamity. Song Joong-ki has played the role of Eun-Seom and Saya.
- Kim Ji-won plays the role of Tan-ya. Tanya and Eun-Seom were born on the same day when a blue comet crossed the sky. She is the daughter of Yeol-son.
- Kim Ok-Vin plays the role of Tae Al-ha. She is a political comrade of Ta-gon. Her father is Mi-Hol, Hae Tribe Chief.
There is no denying that this cast is synonymous with the show; therefore, Season 2 will have these characters and other new characters.

Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Release Date
According to the various reports season, 2 is in consideration. Makers want to start working on it as soon as possible. However, COVID-19 has impacted it financially. Thus, makers want to work on the storyline after the situation normalizes. If season 2 goes into plans, it will take a minimum of two years considering its vast production.
