American Horror Story Season 10 Announcement & Release Date
The future of the American Horror Story series is looking good! Season 10 was confirmed way back in August 2018. Thereafter, in January 2020, three more seasons were confirmed under the franchise name. However, the situation had been at a standstill due to the incessant spread of the pandemic.
In August we received the news that the filming would be resumed in October, but now it seems like it’s been shifted to December. Since the production process is at a halt, the release date of the new season has also been delayed till 2021. Looks like we’ll have to wait somewhat longer to see the show again.
The Storyline
The direction in which the anthology is headed for this season is still pretty unclear. Moreover, Murphy has claimed that the pandemic has actually ruined the plans he had for the storyline which was highly dependent on the vibe and the weather. The filming being stalled due to Coronavirus has definitely impacted the approach and we can’t say anything for sure at the moment.
The hints laid down by the showrunner line up to point at something related to water. It wouldn’t be a surprise if mythical creatures living under the ocean or the sea show up on the new season.
The Cast

Showrunner Ryan Murphy has already said that the tenth season of AHS will see the return of “fan-favorite actors”. He had engaged in the casting process back in 2019 and is still looking to expand the stellar ensemble. Sarah Paulson had confirmed that she would be returning to play the protagonist quite early on. Then in February Murphy revealed on his Instagram account that several other faces would be joining the show. Those names include Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, and the new addition Macaulay Culkin. Recently in November itself, Murphy also confirmed Spencer Novich as another member of the new installment.
