Aunty Donna’s Big Ol House of Fun is an upcoming Netflix comedy-drama, produced by Ed Helms (The Office), Brett Haris (The Chew), Scott Aukerman (Between Two Ferns), and David Jargowsky (Bajillion Dollar Propertie$), and directed by Max Miller. Aunty Donna was initially a Youtube channel, which formed way back in 2011. The Youtube channel has gone on to earn 315,000 subscribers as of writing and has performed various live shows. The show is going to be a mini-series with 6 episodes.

As of right now, we can’t say for sure what the story of Aunty Dolla’s Big Ol House of Fun is going to be. But we can say that there will be a lot of fourth-wall breaking and pop-culture references. The show will also likely feature tons of meta-humor, poking fun at their own series.

One of the scenes showing producer Ed Helms saying to Mark Bonanno “You are going to sit the f**k down”, most likely showing the producer appears on the camera and telling Mark to do his role properly. The official synopsis on Netflix reads:
“Comedy trio Aunty Donna showcase their uniquely absurd and offbeat style through an array of sketches, songs, and eclectic characters.”

The series was announced overnight when Netflix released the trailer. There was no prior announcement or any teases, this thing can be expected from an absurd group like Aunty Donna.
The Cast
The three main roles in Aunty Dolla’s Big Ol House of Fun are going to play by Mark Samuel Bonanno, Broden Kelly, and Zachary Ruane as themselves. Besides the three characters, we are going to see cameos from Weird Al Yankovic, Randy Feltface, Ed Helms, Kristen Schaal, Professional Wrestler Awesome Kong, Paul F.Tompkins, and many more. Won’t be surprised to see Sean Bean featured as a dead body.

Aunty Dolla’s Big Ol House of Fun is going to be released internationally on the 11th of November 2020. All six episodes of the show are going to be released on the same day. So grab your popcorn and your couch, and be prepared to sit for more than two hours.
