Baccano season 2 is an upcoming mysterious Japanese anime TV series based on a light novel under the same name by Ryohgo Narita. Noboru Takagi wrote this series. Takahiro Omori directed this series under the production of Brain’s Base. Various distributors like Madman Entertainment, Aniplex of America, Manga entertainment, and Anime Limited have licensed this series.
Baccano season 2 plot
The plot of the series is set in 1711 when a group of Alchemists discovered a tonic, making anyone immortal. However, after consuming the tonic, everyone has to kill each other, and in the end, who will survive will be immortal. The group found it a silly thing. Consequently, they decided to live in peace and harmony. However, they have a traitor amongst them, Szilard Quates. He started killing his group members one by one. However, when he was about to complete the conditions to get immortal, the group decided to separate their ways and forget everything that happened in the past.
Everyone thought that the tonic was destroyed. However, in 1930, Manhattan Quates created another Immortal tonic. However, even after much effort, he lost tonic. Unfortunately, it circulated in the whole city. Many of them consumed at thinking that was an alcoholic drink. Now, the people belonging to the criminal world also got the tonic. Later, they all will come to know that it was not just an alcoholic drink, which can make you immortal. Instead, it is a kind of toilet for which they have to pay huge costs.
Baccano season 2 official announcements
The makers didn’t come up with any official announcements regarding the renewable of the series. However, it became popular not only in Japan but also in the west. Rumors are spreading all around about the release of this will of the series. However, we have to be patient and wait until the makers make the official announcements.

Baccano season 2 cast
As stated above, the makers didn’t come up with any confirmation regarding the cast of the second installment of this series. However, if the makers are in a mood to renew this series, we can expect the previous cast to return. Hence, we can hear these voice artist again:
- Miria Harvent voice by Sayaka Aoki (Japanese) and Caitlin Glass (English)
- Isaac Dian voice by Masaya Onosaka (Japanese) and J. Michael Tatum (English)
- Szilard Quate’s voice by Kinryū Arimoto (Japanese) and R Bruce Elliott (English)
Season 2 Release date
Since many rumors are spreading regarding this series’ release, we would like to inform you that the makers haven’t made any official announcements regarding this release. But, we expect it to release sometime in 2021.
