The anime adaptation of Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense is based on the light novels of the same title written by Yuumikan, with illustrations from Koin. The show released by Silver Ink studio premiered in January 2020. Unlike the other shows belonging to the same category, Bofuri is a light-hearted Isekai comedy that snatched all our hearts. We have great news for the show’s fans that Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out its creators have confirmed my Defense Season 2.

Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense Season 2 Announcement & Release Date
The hype built up by this show has been immense, and that is why within months after its first season’s finale, we have already received the confirmation for Season 2. Animes have often taken years to be renewed for a sequel but not Bofuri. It started airing on 8 January 2020 and went on for 12 episodes that ended on 25 March 2020. The Funimation licensed series is definitely coming out soon, but due to the pandemic’s interference, a precise date is yet to be announced. We are hoping to hear something on that matter towards the end of this year. Subsequently, the show will probably be released in the latter half of 2021. Stay tuned to this section for more updates.

Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense Storyline
The maxim “Slow and steady wins the race” stands proved by Kaede Honjo, who, after being persuaded by her friend, starts playing the MMORPG “NewWorld” by adopting the alias “Maple.” Instead of taking up an offensive stance, she starts playing the game with a shield with “maxed out defense” stats. Each time she earns a point in the gameplay, she uses it to build up her defense system. Eventually, her gradual rising defense points prevent her from getting attacked and help her earn an invincible status. Simply by displaying her strong sense of comprehension, she later reigns among the strongest players.
