Ultimately, they graduate from the academy and go on exciting missions. This is more like a follow-up to Boruto: Naruto the Movie.

Recap of Episode 177
It begins with the day of remembrance. Shikamaru and Tamari remind their son Shikadai that it is the day of remembrance for those who died in the line of duty during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Subsequently, Tsunade addresses the crowd that they have to serve as an example to the next generation. She discloses that at the Fourth Great Ninja war their enemy was an army led by Madara Uchiha. The shinobis of the other nations agree to ally against the common enemy. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 179 will start from here?
Next, we see the entrance of an unknown guy who is looking for Dr. Katasuke. Suddenly, Mogino shows up and enquires about the stranger. Later, Mogino runs after the stranger to know more about his prosthetic arm. Later, we learn that guy is a retired shinobi.
