The Official Announcement
It’s good news for the fans of Castlevania! The renewal of Castlevania Season 4 was confirmed by the NX account on Twitter in March. Season 4 is officially on its way, and we couldn’t be more delighted!
Season 3 led the raging fans of the series to bombard the creator with questions regarding Season 4, and a possible Season 5. Warren Ellis responded to this on his Twitter account with candid humor:
“Extra special thanks to all the people who have been tweeting ‘it’s been 84 years’ at me since 2018 who are now tweeting ‘but what about Castlevania Season 4?’ Now people are asking about Season FIVE in what I can only assume is an attempt to destroy my mind.”

Castlevania Season 4 Release Date
As of now, the release for the 4th season hasn’t been mentioned anywhere. Considering, the pattern followed by the releases of the 2nd and 3rd season, we can hope to see the new season of Castlevania towards the end of 2021.
Where are we headed in Season 4?
Knowing how the world of horror and fantasy-based series works, no one ever stays dead for good. With Alucard killing off Dracula at the end of Season 2, we can’t help but wonder if Dracula might return in the future.
In his interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ellis describes how “Descent into madness” is the best summation of Season 3. The erasure of Dracula from the narrative actually helped create more room for the development of the other characters. Moreover, what captured the attention of the viewers during the last season was the mention of the “Infinite Corridor”.
All the chaos that was exposed after Dracula’s departure has made the show even more engaging, but Ellis hopes to quieten down the pace in Season 4. “Everything in season 3 gets launched into the air. I have to bring it all down in Castlevania Season 4,”
All three seasons of Castlevania are available on Netflix. Tune in to binge-watch them.
