The fable of Camelot and King Arthur has been in folklore for a long time. But the story of Cursed, a Netflix original, is refreshing and inventive. The series puts the lady of the Lake, Queen of the magical Fey and wielder of a legendary Sword of Power into the limelight. Cursed Season 2 to come soon!
The king is there in the series, but only as a supporting character. Many stories, including that of Merlin’s, has been reinvented in the series. The story is offbeat from the original stories and leads us into a world of powerful kingdoms and oppressed magical people.
Cursed Season 2: Storyline
In the final episode of season one, things don’t go smoothly for Nimue. By killing Father Carden, the Church’s alliance with the Vikings has collapsed. And that can only be a good thing for the people she’s protecting. But what about Nimue?

Desperate to protect Merlin, Nimue takes a bunch of arrows for him and then collapses off a bridge, falling into the river below. Despite his wounds, Merlin summons enough power to wield Nimue’s sword and kill the Red Paladins. The Red Paladins had arrived to finish Merlin off for good.
In the final moments of the episode, the villainous Weeping Monk is revealed to be none other than Lancelot of Arthurian legend. Also, Squirrel turns out to be Percival. Both of them eventually become Knights of the Round Table, which suggests they’ll soon join Arthur’s crusade in season two.
But the Fey still needs protection. So don’t be surprised if Langford’s character rises out of the lake, and gets a rebirth in season two. Also, one point to note is that Nimue was narrating these events in the past tense. This leads us to believe that she will for sure return in season 2.

Cursed Season 2: Release Date
Netflix is yet to give an official greenlight to Cursed season 2. Though the show hasn’t been renewed yet, it also hasn’t been canceled. Maybe Netflix is taking its own sweet time due to the pandemic. Whatever might be the reason, we sure expect a season 2.
