This New Year was marked with the rise of a Vampire in the legendary and thrilling series of ‘Dracula’ created by none other than Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, who is credited for yet another display of magnificence called ‘Sherlock.’
‘Dracula’ is a series based on the lines of ‘Sherlock,’ they both have a similar format, and the protagonists tend to coincide with one another characteristically. Produced by BBC and with a platform like Netflix ‘Dracula’ has garnered a mass appreciation as the viewers find it intriguing and fresh.
Netflix’s description reads: “The Count Dracula legend transforms with new tales that flesh out the vampire’s gory crimes—and bring his vulnerability into the light.” There are still speculations on whether Season 2 will be aired on Netflix.
Although Season one’s plot ran on the lines of the story of Bram Stoker’s novel on Vampires, the creators are planning to make some significant alterations in the upcoming season, which won’t be released before 2021.
The 52-year-old Danish actor, Claes Bang, has made quite a buss with his performance as the titular character and is set to lead the cast in season 2 also. “I am Count Dracula” is what ran bitter cold down the spine of Claes Bang when he delivered this dialogue with utmost sincerity.
Steven and Mark are planning to make this series as engaging and florid as ‘Sherlock’ turned out to be. New characters will be introduced, and there will be some intricate and complicated twists and turns in the much speculated season of ‘Dracula.’
