Into the Badlands is an American TV series created for the AMC network following the Wuxia/Martial- arts genre. This is a must-watch for fans of Chinese Kung Fu movies. The intensive choreography of the action sequences has us all on the edge of our seats brimming with Ecstacy. The Season 3 finale aired on 6 May 2019, which was later also announced as the series finale. AMC has officially canceled the renewal of Into the Badlands Season 4. The series won’t be returning this fall.

Into the Badlands Season 4 Official Announcement
The network AMC canceled the show after 3 successful seasons on 9 February 2019. The news was delivered by AMC during the Television Critics Association winter press tour. Even the show’s actor Daniel Wu took to his Instagram handle in February 2019 to announce that the upcoming Season 3 would be the last season of the show. So no Season 4?

Why was Into the Badlands Season 4 Cancelled?
Into the Badlands Season, 4 was promoted to a great extent before its release by adding Into the Badlands ads during the telecast of The Walking Dead. The firsts season of the show benefited from this a lot and garnered a great deal of viewership and critical acclaim.
However, as The Walking Dead neared its hiatus this series suffered a knock out as well. Gradually, the number of viewers started declining, despite that the network renewed the show for a second and a third season. It was a major hit since the network had envisioned great heights for the show but couldn’t be accomplished ultimately. Well, sad news for Into the Badlands Season 4 fans!

The Storyline
Loosely based on the Chinese tale “Journey to the West”, Into the Badlands is Set in the post-apocalyptic world 500 years from now where war has consumed society. Guns are a thing of the past and close combat weapons like the crossbows are picked up again. A warrior and a young boy embark on a journey in search of enlightenment in a society ruled by Feudal Barons. We hope that Into the Badlands Season 4 comes soon.
