Yuji Itadori is told by his dying grandfather that it is better to help others. On the other hand, Megumi Fushigiro is searching for a cursed object, which is the finger of Ryomen Sukuna. Megumi manages to track the finger’s energy to Yuji. They find out the finger is with the Occult Club. Yuji and Megumi together engage in a battle against the curses. To save Megumi, Yuji consumes the finger, which in turn gets him possessed by Sukuna. Satoru Gojo, master of Megumi, comes to tell Yuji that he has to eat all twenty fingers of Sukuna, to kill, but that would kill him as well. Yuji agrees to go on that suicidal mission.

In the last episode, we see Satoru beating up a monster in frustration of being defeated by a human. A fight occurs between the duo of Toudou and Megumi over a petty matter, which is then broken up by Panda. There are also rumors of the death of Yuji.
