Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Announcement & Release Date
The anime hasn’t been renewed for a second season yet. The first one is still ongoing and will complete its run after a total of 24 episodes. The chances of the series’ renewal are pretty high considering the reception of the show has been majorly positive and it has been reeling in a lot of viewers.

The anime adaptation has also helped boost the readership of the manga it’s based on. More importantly, the manga has 13 volumes, which leaves ample room for further adaptation. As of now, we can only wait to hear more on the topic from official sources. Nevertheless, the possibility of a new season is looking good for now.
The Storyline
Yūji Itadori goes on to join the Occult Research Club that allows him to relax and get to know his seniors, while also leaving time for him to visit his grandfather at the hospital, who’s on his deathbed. After his death, Yuji is approached by Megumi Fushiguro, a sorcerer who tells him that a highly cursed talisman is at his school, and Yuji was exposed to it. As the talisman was unsealed, Curses were attracted to his school and as a means to protect everyone, he swallows the rotten finger and gets possessed by a strong Curse named Sukuna. Unexpected twists await Yuji as he has to bear a huge responsibility.
