Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress 2 is an upcoming post-apocalyptical adventure anime TV series written by Ichirõ Õuchi. Wit Studio produced the series under the direction of Tetsurõ Araki. The first season aired on April 8, 2016.
Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress 2 Plot
The Plot of Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress 2 revolves around the aftermath of a deadly virus spread in the industrial revolution in Japan. This deadly virus turns the infected people into undead creatures called Kabane. Kabane is unconquerable, unlike Zombies. However, they can be defeated if their iron cased heart is pierced. Consequently, the people living and Japan used to live and Fortress stations to ensure their safety. They used armored steam locomotives to travel between stations.
Unfortunately, one day their kabane destroyed their peace by hijacking one of those locomotives. They also invaded Aragane station. During this period Ikorma, a young engineer found it as the best time to test his anti-kabane weapon on these creatures. And his weapon was proved to be effective and Killing Kabane. Unfortunately, he gets infected by this virus. However, resists the virus and made him kabaneri, a half-human, and half kabane. Later he teams up with all the kabaneri’s and started fighting with the Kabane’s.

Since a long time has been passed and the makers haven’t come up with any official announcement regarding Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress 2. However, we can expect this series to renew anytime and 2021.
The Cast
As stated above the makers haven’t confirmed its cast for Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress 2. However, we can expect the lead cast of the series to be back:
- Ikoma voiced by Tasuku Hatanaka (Japanese) and Robbie Daymond (English)
- Mumei voiced by Sayaka Senbongi (Japanese) and Janice Kawaye (English)
- Ayame Yomogawa voiced by Maaya Uchida (Japanese) and Veronica Taylor (English)
- Kurusu voiced by Toshiki Masuda (Japanese) and Jamieson Price (English)
Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress 2 Release Date
Since the makers haven’t confirmed anything about its release date. However, we can expect this season to be released anytime in 2021. But we have to wait until the makers give us confirmation about the release.
#Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is def one of the best this season! I do hope they make a season 2 and turn Mumei and Ikoma human again.
