Teresa Palmer, due to her pregnancy, started the series shoot earlier due to her pregnancy. The series started in 2018, just like any other series. Still, it crossed the fan base of 2 million, which required the producers to focus on the next season.
Now the series will be renewed for not only the second but also the THIRD season!!
The coming seasons will be based on the book shadow of the night (doesn’t it sound creepy?) and book of life (philosophical).
A Discovery of Witches Season 2 Story So Far
The big assignment of writing this season is given to Sarah Dollard and Susie Conklin and guess the name of the production house, yes!!! It’s Bad wolf production.
Jane Tranter expressed her happiness on the success of the show, and the shooting is mostly done in wales. Diana and Matthew playing the lead roles in the series first season will most likely grace us with their presence in the second season as well. The series is mostly based on finding a witch that can teach Diana so she can find the traces in Ashmole 782.
In the finale of season 1, we see, Juliette in her anger slices Matthew’s throat and jams her hand in his chest, Diana instinctively summons a bow and arrow made of fire and shoots it towards Juliette.
With Juliette thrown out because of the arrow, seeing Matthew bleed out, Diana calls out crone and the maiden who grants her one wish in exchange for which she has to give up the one thing she wants. Diana, at the moment, agrees just to save Matthew when she cuts her wrist. Matthew goes straight for her neck.
Miriam impressed by Diana’s bravery wants to do some tests, Matthew says that he will ask Diana about the test Miriam wants to take, he is by Diana’s side when she wakes up with tiredness, Matthew suggests that they should time walk so Diana could learn more about her powers.
A Discovery of Witches Season 2 Release Date
