Master’s Sun Season 2 has been awaited for a while. The South Korean series has a unique blend of romance, comedy, and horror. The end of season 1 left some questions unanswered and fans are unsure if they should be expecting a sequel.
What is Master’s Sun Season 2 About?
The Romantic-comedy series (with a dash of horror) revolves around a young man (Joo Joong-won), a rich CEO of a conglomerate, and a girl who does odd jobs for a living. The girl, Tae Gong-Shil starts seeing ghosts after an incident.
The Cast
We can expect the original cast back for the second season with some additions. We will see Gong Hyo-Jin as Tae Gong-Shil and So Ji-Sub back in Joo Joong-won’s shoes.
Meanwhile, Seo In Guk plays Kang Woo, a veteran soldier, and the head of security for Joong-Won’s mall. For some mysterious reason, he keeps a tab on Joong-won’s activities.
Kim Yoo-Ri plays the role of Tae Yi-ryung, a supermodel in Joong-won’s shopping mall. She is also a high school rival of Gong-ship.
The Plot
Like we mentioned, the first season left many questions unanswered. The second season might bring some loose ends together. It may focus on the budding romance between Gong-ship and Joong-won. It may even explore Tae Yi-ryung and Kang Woo’s relationship.
Master’s Sun Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Master’s Sun was released in August 2013 and concluded in October 2013. After that, the next update came in 2015 from the director, Jin Hyuk. He mentioned that he had season 2 planned. So, after all these years, fans can expect season 2 to land in 2021 or 2022. However, no official dates have been announced. You can watch the first season on Netflix.
