Mr. Sunshine Season 2 is going to be back again, to delight the fans with a set of brand new episodes. The 2018 TV series is once again going to produce another season of the Korean historical drama. The first season has received enough praises and now it’s time to head for the second installment. Based in 1871, the show revolves around a boy who found himself amid the slavery system. Soon he escapes and lands in the US during Shinmiyangyo, which is the U.S. expedition to Korea.
Release Date Of Mr. Sunshine Season 2
The first season was released on Netflix on July 7, 2018. The portrayal of a few stuff in the show was not accurate to the accounts of that period. For the second season, the producing teams and the actors have not denoted any hint. They indicate that the finale had already wrapped up the storyline and also not taking any interest in the second season of the show.

However, from Netflix‘s side, there is never a ‘no’. They have not denied any information about the second installment. So we can be hopeful, we can expect the show to be back.
The Cast
The casts of Sunshine Season 2are namely, Lee Byung-hun as Eugene Choi which is his American name and Choi Yoo Jin is his Korean name. Apart from him, there is Kim Tae-Ri as Go Ae-shin and Yoo Yeon-Seok as Ishida Sho who flees to Japan and becomes a part of the Yakuza group. Also, Kim Min-jung as Lee Yang-Hwa / Kudo Hina and Byun Yo-han as Kim Hee-Sung.
The Plot
After escaping to the United States, Choo Yoo Jin’s life has been changed forever. Eventually, he becomes the Marine Corps officer of the United States and returns to Joseon. His love affairs soon begin. Soon, he finds out the dark conspiracies about the foreign forces. He smelled colonization, that broke out a series of further grave events in the story.
Ending Of The Last Season!
The ending of the last season can probably be a good cliffhanger considering the renewal of the season. But as no news is there, we can keep a hand on our heart and wait for the news. For the first season, we have seen it ending on a ‘not-so-good’ note. For fans, to comprehend his love for Ae-shin, Choi Yoo Jin has already risked his life. He detached the carriage of his train and is left with the Japanese army.
