Nichijou Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Plot and Other Updates!

The second Season would probably deal with her trying to go beyond high school and step out into the real world.

Official Announcement

There has been no official announcement of Nichijou Season 2 so far and most likely there isn’t going to be one.  According to the animation director Shunji Suzuki, the anime sales didn’t even come close to break the line.  The first DVD only sold 924 copies in its first week. Also, the manga production has stopped and most of all it is a comedy series and the show did seem to end on a conclusive note, which makes it unlikelier.

In Conclusion, there is less chance of a new season being announced due to its unprofitability, conclusive nature, and no content to base its source material on.

The Cast

Nichijou Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Plot and Other Updates!

If by miracle Nichijou Season 2 gets announced, there is a chance that the entire cast will get replaced, or maybe it will go on with the old one. If they go on with the old one, so we can expect Mariko Honda as Yuko Aioi, Mai Aizawa as Mio Naganohara, Misuzu Togashi as Mai Minakami, Hiromi Konno as Professor, Shizuka Furuya as Nano Shinonome, Minoru Shiraishi as Sakamoto to come back.

Nichijou Season 2 Release Date

As already mentioned, there is a slim chance of Nichijou Season 2 actually happening, so the release date is far off. But even if season 2 is announced, the show should be released sooner than we think, cause the audience will lose interest if they take a lot of time to make the new season. So, our prediction for the release date would be early 2021.

The Trailer

Nichijou is available on Crunchyroll and Funimation as well. Also, there is a DVD set available for the whole 1st Season. So those of you who want to watch can check it out over there.
