The Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor Season 2 is an anime produced by Liden films and directed by Minato Kazuto. The show premiered on April 4 2017 and went on to June 20, 2017, the first season had only 12 episodes.
The Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor Season 2 Storyline
Season 2 delves into Fantasy elements, the main characters of the story is Sistine Fibel is a student of a Hogwarts-Esque school called Imperial Magic Academy. However, her and her friend’s world turns upside down when their favorite teacher retires, and the teacher is replaced by a lazy and indifferent teacher called Glenn Radars, also hidden aspects of magic start to appear.
At the end of the season, Sistine is forced to marry Leo, but at the nick of time, Glenn rescues her and a final between ensues between Jatice (a rival of Glenn) and Glenn, Jatice is defeated but not totally.
The Official Announcement
Although there is no official announcement about The Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor Season 2, there is enough source material to base their second season around. Also worth noting is the fact that Justice is also still alive. So, it does raise the hopes of fans around the world. It is not uncommon for animes to have a new season after four to five years.
The Cast
If Season 2 gets announced, it is more than likely that all the cast members would be back for the roles. So that means, Soma Saito as Glenn Radars, Akane Fujita as Sistine Fibel, Yume Miyamoto as Rumia Tingel should be back to reprise their lead duties. Additionally, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Jatice Low fan, Eri Kitamura as Celica Arfonia, Ari Ozawa as Re-L Rayford, Hiroki Takahashi as Albert Frazer, Yui Ishikawa as Wendy Nabalese, Megumi Yamaguchi as Lynn Tytis should also be back to play their characters.
Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor Season 2 Release Date
As of writing, there is no definite release date for the second season. But according to early speculations, the new season should be somewhere around the corner. The best bet would be somewhere around mid-2021. But due to the COVID 19 delays, the date could be pushed further back.
