The new season of Northern Rescue may bring more drama to the West Household.
Canadian streaming Platform CBC Gem and Netflix may soon come with a new season of the drama web-series Northern Rescue. Northern Rescue follows the West family, whose happy and easy gong life is turned upside down due to untimely death of the lady of the house.
Sudden death leads John West, played by William Baldwin, to shift his family from Boston to rural Turtle Island Bay. Turtle Island bay is the hometown of John West. Series depicts how each member of the family deals with the loss of a loved one, along with common problems faced by an ordinary man in his day to day life.
Is there a scope of Second Season?
The first season was released on Netflix and CBC Gem on 1st March 2019. All the episodes were available for streaming on the day of release. The first Season gained world-wide popularity and fans are demanding a second season. There is plenty of room for Northern Rescue Season 2 as few story arcs have not been concluded.
Fans have been expressing their desires and expectations from the second season. However, so far neither Netflix nor CBC Gem has released any official statement confirming and or denying another season.
It is being assumed that Netflix and CBC Gem both will produce the second season of the show if there is a renewal. If CBC Gems decides to discontinue the series, Netflix will get complete control over the show. The liability of the second season show will rest entirely on Netflix.
Cast, Plot and Release Date
The show includes William Baldwin, Kathleen Robertson, Amalaisa Williamson, and Spencer MacPherson in the regular cast. All are likely to reprise their roles. Official Plot, release date, or the cast of season 2 has not been revealed, but fans are hopeful for another season.
