Oreshura Season 2: Release Date, Cast, Plot and other Details!

Oreshusa short for Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru is a Japanese Romantic Comedy Anime Series, which is based on light novel series of the same name by Yuji Yuji. The first season aired back on January 6, 2013, and wrapped up on March 31, 2013. Today we are going to talk about the possibility of Oreshura Season 2.

Oreshura Season 2 Storyline

Eita Kido, a pessimistic and cynical high school student wants nothing to do with High School Romance and Dating. His sole goal is to only get admitted into the National University of Medicine. That is until Masuzu Natsukawa, a silver-haired beauty comes into his school. However, he faces stiff competition from his childhood friend Chiwa Harusaki, who is envious of Kido’s feelings for Masuzu. After a little while, Himeka Akishino also enters the picture, who wants the affection and feelings of Eita.  However, at the end of the season, nothing gets resolves, with the last frame being Eita holding hands with Chiwa and Masuzu.

The Official Announcement

As of writing, there has been no official announcement regarding Oreshura Season 2. It has been 7 years since Oreshura graced our screens. However, there is some hope, as the manga series is still ongoing and the show didn’t tie all the loose. Also, after the show ended, a message popped up on screens saying ” How about to come back in 9 years?” hinting towards a possible new season.

The voice cast of the show includes Ryota Osaka as Eita Kido, Yukari Tamura as Masuzu Natsukawa,Chinatsu Akasaki as Chiwa Harusaki, Hisako Kanemoto as Himeka Akishino, Ai Kayano as Ai Fuyumi, Kaori Nazuka as Saeko Kiryu, Risa Taneda as Kaoru Asoi, Nao Toyama as Mana Natsukawa, and many others.

Oreshura Season 2 Release Date

Depending upon the message that popped up, when the first season ended, we will put our money somewhere around 2022. You can expect the news of the second season popping up somewhere around late 2021. We still don’t have any dates, but I strongly feel that Post Pandemic the series will get renewed, and once again you will see your Charecters.
