That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Storyline
In this section, we will give you a general idea of what the show is about. The show follows the reincarnation of Satoru Mikami who gets reincarnated as a slime. Originally he lives a pretty normal life as a corporate worker. However, he gets stabbed in the streets. While he is dying he hears a voice that says a lot of stuff he can’t comprehend. When he regains consciousness, he is back to life as slime. He can devour anything and is then able to mimic its appearance.
He eventually stumbles upon a sealed monster; “Storm Dragon” Veldora. The monster had been sealed away for 300 years as a result of destroying a town. Satoru promises to destroy the seal. Veldora gives him the name “Rimuru Tempest” and also gives him divine protection. The story follows his journey as he tackles everything he comes upon.
The Cast & Crew
Fans will be happy to know that the cast & crew are both reprising their roles in the upcoming season. So, Yasuhito Kikuchi is at the helm as Director and Animation Director. Shintarou Inokawa gets the credit for being the Episode Director. Jin Akutagawa is the Sound Director. Some of the main cast who are expected to reprise their roles are listed below.

The second season was set to premiere in October 2020. However, that didn’t happen because of Covid-19. It postponed the production of the second season. The upcoming season is a split-cour anime. The first half of the second season is set to release on January 12, 2021. The second half was originally supposed to air in April 2021. However, it has been pushed back to July 2021. We will get the actual date for the second half in due time.

Where To Watch?
There are many options to watch the current season of the show. So, you can find it on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. As a result, we expect the new season to release on the same platforms over time. However, you can also watch it on TV if you get the channels in your area. The first season aired on Tokyo MX (original network), BS11, tv, and MBS. So, the second season will most likely air on the same channels as well.
