Shin Seung-woo directed this series under the production of Brain’s Base. Seoul Broadcasting System releases this series featuring Lee Jong-suk, Park Shin-Hye, Kim Young-Kwang, and Lee Yu-bi.
Pinocchio Season 2 Plot
The plot of Pinocchio Season 2 revolves around are a highly intelligent child, Ha-Myung. We used to live with help parents and elder brother. His father, Ho-Sang was a Firefighter. Unfortunately, his father and several of his crew members die while rescuing the victims. However, Ho-Sang’s dead body was missing. An MSC reporter, Song-Cha-Ok blamed him for the death of several crew members. Consequently, his family was outcasted fire the public. As a result, his mother committed suicide by jumping off a cliff with him. Luckily he was saved by an old man.
The man who saved him thought that he was his elder son, Dal-Po, who died 30 years ago. After this recognition, Ha-Myung was renamed Dal-Po. Later he was adopted by their family. In-Ha (old man’s granddaughter) suffered from Pinocchio syndrome. Due to the syndrome she gets hiccups whenever she lies. Later, Dal-Po discovered that In-Ha’s mother was destroyed as a family. Hence, he used to ignore her.
Several years passed and the family moved to Seoul. In-Ha decided to become a reporter, like her mother. Appeared for an interview with MSC broadcasting station. However, she was rejected by Song-Cha-Ok, her mother. She rejected her because of her Pinocchio syndrome. Over time, Dal-Po used to drive a taxi to support the family. However, one day he meets In-ha’s mother. After this meeting, he decided to become a reporter to show the truth about his father and prove him innocent.
Official Announcements
The makers didn’t come up with any official announcements regarding the renewable of the series. The first installment of this series ended with a concluded end. However, the fans are waiting for a sequel of this multiple award-winning series with a new plot. We have to wait until the makers come up with new announcements regarding Pinocchio Season 2.
The Cast
As stated above, the makers didn’t come up with any confirmation regarding the cast of the second installment of this series. However, if the makers are in a mood to renew this series, then we can expect the previous cast to return. Hence, we can hear these voice artist again:
- Lee Jong-suk as Dal-po
- Park Shin-Hye as In-ha
- Kim Young-kwang as Seo Beom-jo
- Lee Yu-bi as Yoon Yoo-Rae
Pinocchio Season 2: Release Date
However, the makers haven’t made any official announcements regarding the release of this series. But, if then makers are in a mood to renew this series, then we expect it to release sometime in 2021 with a new plot.
