Do you remember those two years between season 3 and season 4? It was so hard to keep the excitement in the bay. After Adult Swim Fest 2020 that took place in mid-November, the production is of Rick and Morty Season 5 is on the track. The creators of the show have promised that there won’t be the same wait for the fans. To avoid it, the production of the show has already begun before season 4 ended.
Rick and Morty Season 5 Release date:
It has already 2 years in between seasons and we are eager for more. It was estimated that season 5 would release in November 2021 or even later. In an interview, the creator of Rick and Morty said that it becomes easy to work from home. There is no office environment which helps in visualizing and developing concept.
The Official Announcement:
A short clip of animatic was released by Adult Swim at Adult swim con 2020. The clip shows Morty crying for Rick on an asteroid. Then Morty travels through a portal back to earth. Here he confesses his feelings to Jessica. We can say that season 5 won’t appear this year. Season 5 will release in summer 2021. But we can hope for a trailer by the end of 2020.
We can say that season 5 will contain 10 episodes same as previous seasons. Thought the creative had decided to make 14 episodes in season 10 but due to creative struggle they made it to 10 episodes. Season 4 even had 10 episodes. So will Season 5. Let’s see what new adventures do Rick and Morty go at.
